First Communion
"The Eucharist is 'the source and summit' of the Christian life.
The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries
and works of the apostolate,  are bound up with the Eucharist
and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is
contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely
Christ himself, our Pasch."

(Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1324)

**   Children prepare for their First Communion beginning
in First Grade either through the Parish Religious Education
Program or the Parish School.  Please refer to the Religious
Education Program pages in this website for registration
information for your child.  If you are an adult and have not
received Eucharist, please refer below to the Rite of Christian
Initiation of Adults Program (RCIA).

First Penance
"It is called the sacrament of conversion because it makes
sacramentally present Jesus' call to conversion, the first step
in returning to the Father from whom one has strayed by sin.
It is called the sacrament of Penance, since it consecrates the
Christian sinner's personal and ecclesial steps of conversion,
penance, and satisfaction."

(Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1423)

**   Children prepare for their First Penance beginning in
First Grade either through the Parish Religious Education
Program or the Parish School.  Please refer to the Religious
Education Program pages in this website for registration
information for your child.  If you are an adult and have not
received this Sacrament, please refer below to the Rite
of Christian Initiation of Adults Program (RCIA).

Confirmation
"Confirmation is given only once, for it too imprints on the soul
an indelible spiritual mark, the "character," which is the sign
that Jesus Christ has marked a Christian with the seal of his
Spirit by clothing him with power from on high so that he may be
his witness."

(Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1304)

**   Confirmation preparation is a two-year program in
our Youth Formation Ministry Program.  Youth entering
the 9th or 10th grade should refer to the Youth Formation
Ministry pages in this website for registration information.
If you are an adult and have not been confirmed, please
see below to the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Program (RCIA).

Holy Orders
“Accept from the holy people of God the gifts to be offered to
him.  Know what you are doing, and imitate the mystery you
celebrate; model your life on the mystery of the Lord’s Cross."
                                                       (Rite of Ordination)

**   Any man interested in learning more about the
priesthood is invited to speak with one of the priests.

Anointing of the Sick
“Is any among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the
church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil
in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the
sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has
committed sins, he will be forgiven."
                                                            (James 5:14-15)

**   Please contact a priest if any person is infirmed
either in the hospital or at home, preparing for
surgery, or unable to attend Mass because of illness,
age or handicap.
