Rite of Christian Initiation Program (RCIA)

“The rite of Christian initiation … is designed for adults who,
after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously
and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and
conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God’s
help they will be strengthened spiritually during their
preparation and at the proper time will receive the
sacraments fruitfully.” (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, #1)
If you are an adult curious about the Catholic Church or interested in becoming Catholic, or have been baptized Catholic but never received First Communion & Confirmation, this program is designed to "walk you through." The program will provide both the necessary information for non-Catholic adults who desire to learn more about the Catholic Church, as well as assist any adult interested in becoming Catholic.
Note: Teachings will be held at St. Timothy's Parish for the first half of the year. Classes will be held in Lane Library (same building as the Rectory). The Library is located in the back right hand corner of the parking area.
The second half of the year, classes will be held at St. Catherine's Convent.
If you or someone you know are interested in learning more about entering this program, please contact the Parish Rectory at 781-762-6080.
